The Osmania Graduates' Association, Hyderabad, established in the year 1932, with an objective to serve the Telangana Region through Education, has started several Educational Institutions, right from High School to Post-graduate Colleges, including Professional Colleges like Ply-technique and Engineering.
The future of the Country is shaped in the Class-rooms. The quality of Teaching depends up on the competency and commitment of the Teachers. It is strongly felt that "The competency and commitment based Teacher Education" is the need of the hour. In recognition of the importance of Teacher Education of higher degree, the Osmania Graduates' Association and Exhibition Society, Hyderabad had taken a decision to start three Colleges of Education in the district of Telangana region namely Warangal, Ranga Reddy and Mahaboobnagar.
Sri P. Vasantha Rao and Dr. T.V.Gopala Chari, the President, General Secretaries of Osmania Graduates' Association, Hyderabad respectively under the able guidance of Sri C.B.Namdev, former President Osmania Graduates' Association and Economic Committee, Hyderabad along with other members of Managing Committee of Osmania Graduates' Association, Economic Committee and Exhibition Society, Hyderabad were instrumental to start the existing Lal Bahadur College of Education, Warangal, in the year 2002-03. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore had accorded recognition to the B.Ed. Programme in
the academic year 2002-03 and M.Ed. Programme in the academic year 2008-09.

Aims and Objects of the Association
To promote Educational, Economic, Scientific, Social, Cultural and other allied activities and establish institutions therefore.
To print and publish and /or to cause to be printed and published, newspapers, journals Periodicals, books and brochures.
To establish branches of the Association.
To create a sense of service among the alumni of the Alma mater.
To do all such other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objects and for all around progress of the Country.
